Winter warming and a touch of luxury are the home interior trends we are likely to be seeing this autumn 2020 season.
Look out for colours and textures to help you feel cosy, relaxed and perhaps a little indulgent.
It’s already been such a hard year for so many people and this autumn winter is going to see us spending more time in our flats and houses and perhaps seeking a few home comforts.
Rich autumnal shades are with us again this year, with warm browns and soft creams carrying over from 2019.
Green will also still be popular and making its presence in a range of shades, from sage and basil hues through to exquisite emeralds.
Making a strong appearance this year as well is a deep amber shade.
Look out for fabrics and accessories in delicious caramel, honey and liquid gold shades.
Those leafy, foliage patterns will still be around in all manner of greens but keep an eye out for a few in warming burnt orange or tempting fudge as well.
Fabrics this season are likely to retain that luxurious edge, with heavy velvets especially apparent in throws and cushion covers.
Go a step further and choose a faux fur rug with a sumptuous feel or a soft floor cushion in a deep autumnal shade to warm your room up even more.
Tassels are also in this season and seek out gorgeous coloured glass vases and delicate candelabras for a little contrast and more than a touch of elegance.
