The new year has started and once again we find ourselves back in another lockdown situation.
There is light at the end of the Covid-19 tunnel, but we are all too aware there will still be difficult times ahead before we get there.
The country has been moved into Coronavirus Alert Level 5, where people must stay at home, except for limited exceptions.
We do not know how long this situation will last but we are aware of one key difference to the first national lockdown: the housing market will remain open.
Here at Norfolk Property Management & Lettings we are also still very much open.
We are available to landlords, tenants, prospective landlords, prospective tenants and everyone else we work with.
During the lockdown we will be trading from our office by appointment only.
Other members of our team will be working remotely from home and will be able to attend to your maintenance and other issues from there.
As a letting agent, we are able to show houses and undertake everything normally required by us to enable you to move in.
In everything we do, our aim is to keep you and all our staff members safe – and we will take all required safety precautions.
House moves are a limited exception to the stay at home rule and are therefore permitted to go ahead, under guidance issued by the UK government.
It is worth noting, however, that people outside your household or support bubble should not help you with your move, unless absolutely necessary.
It is also important to check the government advice on social distancing, letting fresh air in and wearing a face covering, when viewing a property or undertaking the other necessary steps of a house move.
