Prepare for change at the National Landlord Investment Show

The National Landlord Investment Show returns next week at Old Billingsgate, London.

Connecting thousands of landlords, investors and property professionals for a full day of networking, expert insights, and education, it takes place on Wednesday, October 29.

The UK’s largest property exhibition, the show – which is free to enter – offers a packed agenda of over 50 seminars and expert-led panel discussions.

There will also be more than 100 exhibitors and free training opportunities on how to prepare for the Renters’ Rights Bill.

This will be via an expert-led three-part training series on getting ready for the Renters’ Rights Bill, covering the following key topics:

*Part 1: The new assured tenancy system – what it means in practice, delivered by Suzanne Smith, founder of the Independent Landlord.

*Part 2: Changes to evictions – understanding section eight and the abolition of section 21, delivered by David Smith, partner at Spector Constant and Williams.

*Part 3: New landlord obligations and penalties – from the PRS Database to the Ombudsman and Decent Homes Standard, delivered by Susie Crolla, managing director of the Guild of Letting and Management.

In addition to the Renters’ Rights training series, landlords can take part in discussions on the future of the UK landlord in an era of change, as well as access key seminars across four different rooms and two stages throughout the day.

Expert-led seminars will cover topics such as making tax digital, investment strategies and financing tips.

Providers offering services across tax, mortgages, property management, lettings and legal advice will also be present.

The event will also give landlords and property professionals the chance to connect and meet expert key service providers, helping them navigate and thrive in the UK property market.

The National Landlord Investment Show will be held between 8.30am and 5pm on Wednesday, October 29, at Old Billingsgate, London.
