An event is being staged in London to help landlords prepare for what are being described as the most significant changes to the rental market in three decades.
To help landlords navigate the upcoming changes, the one-day training event will take place in London on Wednesday, June 4, at Hamilton House, in London.
Hosted by Paul Shamplina, Co-Founder of Landlord Action, and Steve and Tracey Hanbury, founders of the National Landlord Investment Show, the event promises to help landlords navigate change, stay compliant, and manage their property businesses effectively.
The event follows the success of last year’s inaugural training day, with an expert speaker line-up, no sales pitches or upselling – just clear-cut, practical advice for landlords and professionals in the sector.
Paul Shamplina said: “We are going to experience one of the biggest changes in 30 years.
“This event is about helping landlords prepare their property business for those changes with actionable advice and industry-leading insights.”
“We’re targeting between 100 and 200 landlords who want to operate as professionals.
“Our aim is to offer pure, honest education from industry veterans who understand the day-to-day realities of property management.”
Throughout the day, attendees will gain direct access to speakers and receive up-to-date information on topics such as the Renter’s Rights Bill, financing and landlord tax strategies.
Key speakers and topics include:
*Christian Balshen (Rightmove): Rental Market Trends for 2025
*Susie Crolla (Guild of Letting and Management): Navigating the Renters’ Rights Bill: Compliance and Risk Management
*Gavin Richardson (MFB): Investment Opportunities and Mortgage Market Outlook
Martin Wardle (TH Ward): Tax Policy and Property Structures for Landlords
*Andrew Binstock (Auction House London): Property Investment and Auctions in 2025 (As featured on BBC1’s Homes Under the Hammer)
Steve Hanbury said: “In this ever-changing business, landlords need to know where to go right and avoid the wrongs.
“This one-day training covers everything from legal and financial management to market trends and professional development.”
